Bull Elk Hunt 2007

We may hunt the most nomadic elk herd in Wyoming, but our pictures show the success and quality we have to offer. We are proud to say are success rate is almost as good as are antelope success rate. We have only had three elk hunters in the last 10 years that did not fill their elk tag.

After hunting antelope a few years prior to 2007, Jerry Wasson decided to try an elk hunt in Wyoming. After three days of hard hunting Jerry harvested this trophy bull on his fourth day out.

A closer look at Jerry's monster bull elk. The guides at Bar-Nunn had watched this bull in 2006 and nicknamed him the "Slickhorn" for the fact that on his right side he has about two feet of massive slick horn.

Monster Mule Deer

This mule deer is one of the biggest we have ever taken on the ranch. Mark Nethery has hunted with us since 1998 and was lucky enough to harvest this trophy mule deer during his 2007 trip to Wyoming despite passing a kidney stone just days before his Wyoming hunting trip.

Big Mule Deer

Ed Ogle had told us prior to the start of his hunt that he was looking for a really big deer. Well, he found what he was looking for. Ed took this trophy deer after several hours of "belly crawling" and stalking this wise old mule deer buck only to get within 350 yards before deciding there wasn't much of a chance to get much closer.
